Samba VWs
new threads for Samba VWs to go along the eBay cars
drop the modern taillights, etc then this pickup would be Check out those huge foglights at front

Just refound pict of the BGW spectre "opera coupe" baja

ThrasherBill August 19th, 2003 12:35 PM

I know this doesn't fall into the "Volksrods" realm, but the guy that owns this:

wants to trade me for my '68 bug. He's in El Paso, Texas and I'm in B.C. Canada. Any one ever done any long distance vehicle shipping and have any freight companies to suggest or recommend? I'd like to talk to a few and find out what kind of $$$ would be involved in shipping a car that far. It looks like a decent bus and is pretty much exactly what I'm looking for.

Thanks

That truck rocks!! Reminds me of one of my old drawings, but I don't think I ever scanned that one

If you put the deck lid back on the op. coupe slammed and skirted it it would be really cool.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE</div><div class='quotemain'> what the hell are you smokin'?
Weed my brothahhhhhh....cigaretts kill ya know, and crack makes you lose your teeth, and tires cost money....

Now what was I saying???......oh yeah...

The Baja.

It looks good. The proportions are cool and well balanced. It looks good, nicely done, not a hack job, and how much of a back seat does a Baja bug really need?

Whether or not the construction would hold up to some Georgia backwoods boonie-bouncing or I don't know. It would rule if it was steel.

I like it. Looks good.

Not from Samba but don't feel like starting a new thread. I have no info on this, just picts. But notice the front beam so it's on an old chassis....

bugdust August 24th, 2003 06:41 PM

Nice!!! I would love to replace my old Toyota pickup with this one.

bugdust August 24th, 2003 06:43 PM

Shit, someone could turn some quick money on that freebie camper. Part the bastard out.

The louvered windows, the bumpers look straight, and the camping interior usually sells, good windshield, etc.

And it comes with a free TV, and boxes of cereal and JELLO.

p-nor August 31st, 2003 07:22 PM

that's what i'm sayin'. anyone who has the space and patience could make a cool grand on this i think.

Ianvwsb73 August 31st, 2003 11:06 PM

p-nor September 7th, 2003 10:57 AM

vwfanatic September 9th, 2003 03:53 AM
