Re: Today F..king Rules Thread
After two and a half years at my job I finally got a promotion. The catches are no raise til the freeze on all raises is lifted and instead of having the normal 3 month training period to be a painter I have been given 3 weeks. All in all I am happy about it.

Re: Today F..king Rules Thread
Had an interview the other day. I might be teaching 1-2 classes at the local University along with my current classes at ITT.
I just sent my application to go back to school at another University to get my K-12 art teaching degree.

Re: Today F..king Rules Thread
good deal, i hope the job market opens up for everyone, there are just way to many people struggling nowdays,
just heard on the news just now, they say the economic recession has officially ended, i will believe it when i start seeing it, but then again maybe this is the beginning
why i worry i dont know, i just hate to hear when people lose their jobs due to cutbacks, i will never work again, but my oldest son has struggled due to weather, he's a carpenter and had to take a roofing job after getting layed off a year or so ago, and now when it rains you cant roof (unless you have a gigantic umbrella) and he has his own family to support, then my youngest son is taking machine shop his last 2 years of high school, i hope that trade takes a turn for the better by the time he graduates or he may end up roofing as well
congrats Andy

Re: Today F..king Rules Thread
with the holidays coming up a lot of the older guys want time off. so i started training on being a service writer to help cover shifts. service writers get paid commission on what they sell, techs are on a flat rate system. so now im writing my own work orders, doing the work, making the upsales and kicking ass at it. also was approved for whatever over time i want as long as i am staying productive either training or working. helloo good paychecks for a change!

RAVENS BABY!!! ! !
They Kicked a boat load of Bronco Ass today!
Biggest difference, we finally had our starting left tackle back in the O line up today and the defense looked a little more like the Ravens defense making big hits and tackling! 4-0 with Jared Gaither, 0-3 without .

Re: Today F..king Rules Thread
had to run some errands and dr's appointment today. went to popeye's for crawfish for lunch UMMMMM, then headed over to juliano's hot rod parts to get some new fender beading for the super. Hadnt been to his new place before. ran into his wife marsha and she helped me out, said bob is around here somewhere. when he got there, he gave me the full tour. Holy shit. got to see Thunder and Lightning, his 2 ford wagon projects as well as the famout Nifty 1 woodie and a bunch of his other toys (including he completely restored scotty camper) anda split window beetle project. his machine shop would make you pass out.....i couldnt even count all the mills and lathes and who the hell knows what some of the machines were. had a great time. bob is a great guy and his stuff is top quality

After about a 3 week vetting time, my company moved me from a computer op. to a computer based trainer/instructor. the best part I will be working with a game system called VBS2. So now I just play games all day for work. (My avatar is a screen shot of the game)
