Zeitgeist
Re:: Wraithblades Build
Way Newb here this is my first for everything First hot rod first VW first car build. I have wanted to build this can since high school 13 years ago when i saw a bug that had no fenders. So about me Im from Cinci Ohio and make soap for a living was building R/C airplanes for a hobby when a few guys at work started getting bugs an I thought now is the time to build this car. I will say after reading the forums its going to be a standard VR build 8" front end from Doug41 which I should order on Friday the chop will be a Fernon Chop im renaming because its his exact chop im doing 4, 2,2 currently, type 4 motor, Rebel Harness, inside will be Rhino liner on metal on doors roof, dash and floor,carbon fiber on dash,door panels and what ever else I can wrap it around, last but not least machined aluminium on knobs, shifter, E-brake, Handles. working on pics.

It's been a busy couple of weeks for me got my breaks done motor is in and wired up and seats in. And got the steering done. If that isn't enough I also fired it up and went for a first test drive and first ever driving a VW ever. I would have done this years ago if I knew how fun they are. I know after this weekend I prolly pissed off every neighbor. On to the pics and bids soon to come

Well with the holidays here and the cold haven't been a busy on the car as I need to be but got out there this week. So I wanted to fill in all around the gas tank and use the stock location. I also had to even out the front apron.

In the past 2 weeks I got the front welded up, hatch made for the steering gearbox, and finally put in the drivers side brake cooler.
