Unofficial drag race / AutoX event in utah?

I just finished my engine swap in my beetle and a coworker has challenged me to a race. I have started thinking about it and I would like to organize an event for other people to come have some fun too. Daily drivers are welcome. If I can get enough people interested, I will be trying to organize it so that we can use a local runway at the Provo or Spanish Fork airport.

We would measure everything out and time by hand with a stopwatch. Again, unofficial, but something fun to give the average person a taste of racing whether it be 25hp bug or 300hp non VW.

Not sure of a cost yet. I kind-of want to get a rough count of the # of people to expect. I will work on a cost and date at that time.
