Re: newbie
finished my 12"beam extension. instead of hacking off the nose i just cut and clearanced the front apron. i also picked up a used 944 manual rack and pinion cause da steering box wont work any more. ill put up some pics tonite. people dont realize how much fabrication work goes into these things, lots of measuring and remeasuring.
ill put up some pics later

Re: newbie
well my dad made a bracket and installed the 944rack and pinion...it wont work. i turn left wheels go right. fricken a
piss me off. i guess the porshes spindles tierod mount is in the front as the volkswagen mount is in the back. only way to make it work is if i flip the rack around and modify the steering column, suck cuz i was planning on using th stock gas tank.
i mock up my father n laws 15 x14 and 15 x6 weld rims just to see what it would look like.
