My first bug...vw bug - ME 109!
Hi guys a little late getting here but I wanted to have something to show or talk about...
Chopping my first veh of any kind.. figured a bug, a 68, was a good place to start.
got a few surprises, the big one is just how thin this metal is... I just finished a 38 Plymouth, discovered that old car had significantly different steel than a beetle. I blow holes with my mig even on low temps! BUT! I'm getting the hang of it.
And no I ain't asking nobody nuthin (yet) you guys are without mercy on newbies!
Pics in a few minutes

Re: My first bug...vw bug
Got a question (I know you guys are going to kick my ass for asking stoooopit stuff!)
But it seems the right torsion bar is much weaker than the left one? What's up?

Re: My first bug...vw bug
rear tailights and stands (model A repops) the brown triangle is the oil filler marking found on ME 109s, the red triangle is on the gas filler door
