Been getting a bunch of replies, mostly with the same questions, so I'll clear up some stuff in one shot.
Everyone asked for a picture, so here's one I took a few months ago:

As you can see, it's not a show vehicle! I was working on the windshield frame a bit, that's why the windshield is not in the picture, but I do have the windshield and the tailgate, and everything is all steel. I just replaced some metal on the tailgate, and there's a tiny bit more to do. I also have the 4th wire wheel. I was going to swap over to steelies on wide whites, since the wire wheels are a little bit of a pain to clean and finish them properly. Yes, it does run and drive. It has not been rodded, it is all stock, but it was converted to 12-volt, but retains the neat original foot-pedal starter. The motor sounds very nice, no leaks, smoke, or weird noises. The gas tank was switched to a bed-mount, and I fabbed up a nice steel tank which fits in the bed like a glove, still needs the fittings and neck, but I'll try to have that done. The frame is super-solid and nice, banjo rear was rebuilt 3 years ago before I bought it, and the clutch was done around the same time. Only thing I do not have are the doors. I was going to fab them up with some new metal, I found a place that sells brand new skins for 55 bucks. I just bought and mounted a pair of old-school Almquist headlight stands, and a pair of BLC headlights, the ones with the turn signals on top.
As you can see, there's still a little bit of work to be done, but not much. Any more info, just let me know. Thanks!
