Default More leg room

Pics were taken with the iPhone so my apologies. Moved the seats 3" back for some extra leg room. I'm more of a do'er rather than a do'a'little then take a pic of it. Getting better with my sharing though.

Remove seats.
Spot drill spot welds (went through the pan on a couple of them)
Chisel seat track out.
Move back 3"
Measure width and hold
Tack weld where you drilled.
Reinstall seats.

Looks great, but aren't you a little young to be driving that? ;-)

Back three inches, I think he wants them ahead three inches so he can reach the pedals.

I am same as you.
It is a big help for lotsa' V-Rodders to see a step-by-step
so I wanna encourage you to keep taking pictures and posting the step-by-step.
I hope to get better at it also.

Question I have regarding moving seats back for more leg room. I know this sounds stupid, but here goes. On my V8 Square project, I may want to relocate my seats bach further but don't want it to look too stupid sitting behind the door posts. What is the general feeling on this/

If you need the leg room then it's a no brainer. If you're worried about what other people think on how you look, do what I do. Bring them in real close so they can hear you, then tell them to go FCUK themselves. It's all about what you like brother! Go for it.

Thanks for the words of wisdom. Here are some pics of my floor in my V8 Squareback project.
