New on here
Hi guys. Have lurked for awhile. Time to register. I'm in central NC, about 10 miles or so east of Raleigh. Grew up in Michigan, went in the Army at 19, got out, went back in, and retired here (last assignment), in 1980. Moved where I am in the fall of '80, been here ever since. Worked, got a divorce, raised my two sons by myself from 3 & 7, they're 31 and 34 now, neither been in trouble with the law, got two grandkids. Got a project '69 Beetle I hope to start on this coming year, had it for awhile. Ran beetles, mostly stock, for at least 10 years. Got two for parts, sold the other, '67, kept this one. Been too involved with life, et al, to work on it, but now trying to make up for lost time. Been doing mostly woodworking since I retired, now time to do some new things.
