The Caribbean, me come from..
Well
I build bikes for a living, own a shop in Puerto Rico called Caribbean Custom Cycles, have a book by Motorbooks International called How to Build a Bobber on a Budget, have built a few cars for fun and for the movie industry.
By chance a buddy left the island and left me a 71 super beetle, although my first car was a 72 convertible bug and my family currently owns a 57 ragtop, never had the itch to custom build a VW, but I will take a shot with this 71.
Hence, that is why I became part of this group..
I have a very slight idea on the details and tricks to work on VW's, but not much. I will seek for help, as well, whatever I can help with bikes, feel free to ask.
