I got a 10 gal under the hood on mine. I had is made with a fuel level sender and a bottom sump/outlet. The only place I found that will do custom things to the standard tank is
http://aluminumgastanks.net/

It took a few weeks made to order, but nice guy

A guy in my car club mounted a beer keg with no problems, and the hood closes and locks.

If you have a tank in mind, figure the cubic inches and divide by 231 (the number of cubic inches in a gallon. Example: a 10" diameter tank 24" long would carry 8.15 gallons (minus the material thickness if these are outside dimensions...but you get the idea.)
