One thing you will need to replace is the flasher. LED's don't put the load on it to make it trip. Upgrade to a digital flasher.

Just my $.02 on the situation.

If I'm not mistaken, you just need to put a resistor on the circuit... Check google, I think this has been covered here before and I KNOW it's been covered millions of times before on the internet...

A trailer 7 to five wire converter is at NAPA for about 14.00 All input and output wires are marked and it is super simple. Did mine with LED s and took about five minutes.

The trailer adapter is only needed if you are using dual filament bulbs to act as brakes and turns.. If you still have the same number of sockets/bulbs but are just going to use led bulbs, you just need a resistor on the line to draw enough power for the relays to trigger properly.

Seriously if you check google you'll find tons of how tos...

Will a digital flasher work with conventional lights? On my sidecar rig I have a bulb type t/s light in the back and an LED up front. This is only on the sidecar side. Sometimes the signals flash and sometimes not. The left side are stock Yamaha and work fine.
