I converted my 66 bus back in 1999. Still have it and now running on lithium batteries. I highly recommend an ev as a daily driver. The evalbum and evtradinpost are also good resources.

Brilliant! How far do you get between charges? Do you have regenerative braking?

My new toy is a 63 convertible that's been "converted into a Heb." There is indeed a back seat but it touches the front seats. Might be OK for little ones, but not for long.

35 mile range on a small lithium pack. Charge time is less than an hour. It is a DC system, so no regen, but I do use the built up momentum to run the air conditioning compressor instead of wasting it as brake heat
