Default Dual port heads

Rebuilding the top end on my 74 Super 1600 dual port engine.Shopping for a new set of heads. Looking at MOFOCO O41 heads with 39 and 32 mm valves and EMPI 98-1398-B heads with 40 and 35.5 mm valves with dual springs. This is a stock 1600 with 85.5 pistons and stock for now cam. Which of these two heads do you people reccomend ? Is there a better choice somewherelse ? Thank you in advance for your help .

EMPI is one step up from GEX.

I'v looked at about all vw parts dealers heads. There are some really nice vw heads out now .Money will play a partial role in what heads I can buy.Are the EMPI heads not a good set of heads for the engine that I'm rebuilding ?

Built my 1776 with AA Performance heads. I had to clean up the intake ports some but I think they're a good value. I've seen way to many cracked autolina castings lately...
