In the Small World Category, yesterday I passed a '60s bug as I was leaving town. Like yours, she was flat black with red wheels, but with beauty rings but no caps. I have to say that seeing VWs like these remind me of good times and make me smile.

It does need an altitude adjustment. Next on the list for it is to pull the engine, reseal, retorque, adjust everything...and maybe some paint. Then I will install door panels.

After that, I have to get all the lights working and adjust the brakes. Then, I will work on ride height and wheels.

I ordered some tune-up parts and misc items from CIP1. My plan was to pull the engine out today and put in new flywheel seal, pushrod tubes, gaskets etc, retorque heads, clean, paint all the tin and intake, etc.

Change of plans. The car sold about an hour ago.
