I'm sure I'll have to raise it at least a little. Don't think it will clear the speedbumps in the neighborhood

Slow progress is still progress. Finally got my headlights mounted, at least temporarily. I got a pair of headlight mounts from Fab 104, and I love them, but my motorcycle headlights just don't bolt up to them. So I had to make up adapters out of some 7/8" key stock. I suggest against it, very hard to tap. Broke my new Craftsman tap handle, in fact.

But they're on, and yeah, probably way too low. Oh well. One step closer

Thanks. The raw cast aluminum is starting to patina very nicely.

Mounts look great! Not 'too low' for me. Stance screams hot/Volks rod.

Love the wheels! Are they from an industrial scissor - lift or cherry-picker?

They are Rocket Wheels. Fire in 16x5 and 18x6.

How 'bout on the lowers and uppers for a unique 'quad' look?

Honestly, I was really close to getting repop triangle headlights for it, but could only find them in chrome.

Later, I saw that someone is making raw cast headlight buckets. Would look super awesome with my rims, but not enough cooler, since I'd also then want cast taillights as well.

So you're 'casting about' for lighting ideas?

There's a guy on eBay that makes some pretty neat cast aluminum taillights and turn signals. Just a bit expensive
