Default Empi center caps

Has anyone used these Empi caps on stock wheels? How did you get them to fit since they are a tad larger than the stock wheel cutout?

Default Re: Empi center caps

Yes Iput them on my wide 5 wheels. Frist I put them on the car and lined the wheels up on themand marked were they touched . Then I annealed the spots I marked. Then I made a leather bag with lead shot in it. I put the bag on my anvil, put the hub on the bag & peened the marked spots untill they fit. they will blue were you anneal them, but if you dont you will end up with holes. I used some chome paintjust on the blueed spots. Hope this helps.
