Needs a big ol' sled front end like off a Buick! Like to see you pull it off Spencer. Might have to give it a go myself...just as soon as the Volkster is out of the way that is.

So if someone's project ends up in this thread, and they still own it.....do they qualify for the Crazy Slacker of the Month award?

I am using this thread as motivation to not have one of mine IN this thread

I know that life does throw curves, I think I have had my fair share. Hopefully though, once that curve is dealt with , the plan is back is on schedule!

Maybe we should start putting photos in here that we haven't seen updated in a long time?

No, I am not saying that in a mean way, but maybe some "peer pressure" can provide a little motivation?

I like that idea!

Could be a great idea, if they hit and unseen hurdle we could offer some ideas to help move it forward.

Buy a stock one, and chop it correctly.

Some unfinished stuff is screwed up,
that's why it's not finished.

Looks sweet to me and I reaally like the full fendered look. Weld VW emblem into the tailgate and tell folks it's a rare factory, or maybe a dealer option.

Don't tease MK like that. The thought of getting tied up may excite him too much....

Pictures of the FLat bed 1957 VW truck on a 64 pan that I built in 1984 and drove about 65K miles before selling. You can see a little of the "Cattle Rack on the 5' X 5' truck bed. Had a 1700 CC engine. Parts from Ford, Chevy and Renault 10 taillights. Found the body in the woods and paid $20. for it. Someone had shot the doors with a shotgun. We had about 160" of snow that winter. Pop

Fonzy's truck is what inspired me to build my bugtruck. I'd love to get my hands on that one!
