73 one year only stuff for visual ID:

has non-shock absorber bumper brakets, yet has the "new for 73" big taillights. So if it has flat steel brackets and big taillight, it is a 73

Mine (that the Title says is a 1970) has the flat Bumper Brackets and Big Ugly Tail lights and the VIN says Built November 1972............So............Would that make it a 73?

If it is in fact a 73 and has a good dash, you can make some money off of it.. 73 also has a unique dash, and replacements are almost impossible to find. at least they were when i was looking for one...

the cover is about $70 but the dash itself I could only find at one place for $400 and when i called to ask em about it, they said due to lack of demand they didn't carry it anymore, they just hadn't updated their catalog..
