New rescue cat is at it again. The work light wasn't plugged in and the camera was right there so Beth took a quick picture before she grabbed the spray bottle and gave Amber an educational spritz.

This is why I always unplug stuff before we go somewhere, especially my laptop. Mia likes to go behind the curtain and find "snakes".

I fixed it so they can't dig under the door, I had some old concrete window sills from when my grandpa put bay windows in there house back in the late 70's, they're 2-1/2 inches thick and I needed 64 inches long, I layed the shorter ones on the bottom and cut the 6 foot long one to length and stacked them 3 layers, then on the outside I layed twelve 12 inch square concrete pavers in 2 rows 6 in a row, on the inside I just layed a piece of plywood on the ground, so far I've only seen 1 spot where they tried to start digging, but they only got the gravel off the top, then they hit the concrete that the door frame posts are set in, no sign of them since I pushed the gravel back, but I've seen them running along the fence and under the shed, I took old socks and stuffed them with rags to the size of soft balls and soaked them in ammonia and shoved them into all the openings I could see, hopefully that will run them off, that's how I ran them out from under our front porch last year, no signs of them up front so far this year, I walk around and check every other day, as much as I'd hate to do it if they come back I'm getting out the shotgun, they ate well over half our tulips and we had planted 95 bulbs in 2016 to the 20 tulips we had, lil bastards

Looks like it will be tomorrow when the puppy gets dropped off, I was so ready today

Super cute pup! Watch out for her tail. My neighbor has two grownup versions of your pup, and when they come over to greet me their tails thump the heck out of my shins.

I know all about tails, all 3 of the basset hounds I had knocked drinks off the coffee table, broke ornaments on the Christmas trees, had to put anything breakable or light weight up
This dogs tail seems much shorter than a basset hound's, but I'm sure once he's full grown we'll hafta watch out and put stuff up
The other day I was at Walgreens to pick up some meds, on my way back to the pharmacy I went down the pet aisle and was looking at all the toys, all but one of the toys that had a squeaker in them I didn't like, then I picked up this pig, it made an obnoxious sound, so I bought it, when I gave it to him for the first time it scared the heck out of him, for 3 days he would walk as far away from it to get past it, now it's his favorite, after 15 to 20 minutes I feel like taking it and putting it up, but it's still funny watching him roll around chewing on it, here's a video

Well my wifes plan is working, I'm only spending about an hour on the couch a day, before the puppy I was spending almost 5 days a week on the couch
Today we took a 2 mile walk in less than an hour, I hope to go farther every couple days
This past weekend he stole the bucket I bought to wash our new car, he shook it back n forth and hit it on my trailer and poked a hole in it, now he has a new chew toy, good thing I only spent a dollar for it

Hopefully soon I'll have so much energy I can get back to work on my Volksrod

Must be some bucket if that cute pup can poke a hole in your trailer with it.

No he poked a hole in the bucket from shaking it back n forth, he just happened to be next to the corner of my trailer, when it hit the trailer it poked a small hole near the bottom of the bucket, it might hold a half an inch of water now, so it's his bucket now, I'll go spend another dollar and get a new one, I just can't leave it anywhere he can get it, but hey, he doesn't chew our shoes, he was biting at mine while walking him, I sat him down and had a talk with him like a person, told him if he continues to bite at my feet while walking him he's either gonna pull me down on top of him or he's gonna become a permenent shoe on my foot when I kick him in the ass, he tilted his head to one side, seemed as if he was listening, but he hasn't tried to get my shoes during our morning walks
I was just walking him up to the corner of the main street we live off of, maybe half a mile, yesterday and this morning we walked 1.9 miles, yesterday we did it in 55 minutes, today we did it in 47 minutes, after a few weeks we'll start doing 4 miles, Then we're gonna see if we can run it, I plan to run a full 26 mile marathon next May even if I hafta crawl to the finish line, something I've wanted to do since I learned about the Boston marathon in the 3rd grade, I ran about 12 miles 4 days a week when I played soccer, but I had to give it up when I got my first job after high school
I'm gonna fulfill that dream no matter what, it's called the Flying Pig Marathon here, Cincinnati was aka Porkapopalis or something like that back in the 1800's because of all the pigs and slaughter houses back then

Good for you and your pup. Working up to the distance in stages is the way to go.
