Ummm...

Hey Mr. Punk...

I thought that the deal was to get a photo of a "perfect" setting. The sun setting over the horizon, a snow capped peek, or a cascading waterfall as the main image in the photo, and then your (or any) VW snuck in to add an element of artistic conflict? This means that the image must have movement, color, texture, emotion, and I canít remember off the top of my head what the other elements of a perfect image are.

Did I miss understand you, or isn't that what you are asking for? This isn't supposed to be another "post a pic of your ride" thread as I understand it. I'm working on one for you, but I haven't found the right hour of lighting yet. The shadows either get jumbled, or they are not well enough defined to add proper depth. I'll get you one though, assuming that this is the kind of image that you are after.

HEY, Somebody actually read my first post!!!!!

TC,
First pic........no.

see, these are opposite of what we're looking for. These are beauty by comparison. Where the uglier the model, the worse the setting for the photoshoot is. When you see models in junk yards or slaughterhouses you know that in real life she's nothing special. (Read Invisible Monsters by Chuck Palahniuk)

people don't read, they scan and see "post a pic" and go Ooooooh!

these won't be pics you have laying around anywhere, unless you're a total pic whore or professional photog.
this involves going out and taking new pics.

Here's a pooper for you. This is a photo I took of my friend's shitty singlecab. Hey it's a beautiful wooded background. I'm working on a good one of my car. Just you wait.

Yes, they do kind of blend in and I don't think the property value went up OR down Cool pics none the less.

That was a pretty good /slightly disturbing book. I did learn what "felching' was by reading it though .
I'm still having trouble getting into "Survivor", pretty boring read . Fight Club was by far his best.

Dude, I just finished Surviver yesterday! It was pretty boring, there just was no twist. You wait for something, well, fucked up like the rest of his books, and it just doesn't get there. My favorite of his novels is actually Lullaby. It's a really good story, and full of great quotes.

Before I get the new ones up, here's one from a few years ago that might qualify. And if not, well...frickin moo. I just wish these pics didn't make my car so shiny. It's actually not that nice. In any case, these were shot on the grounds of a mansion, I had no business being on-- as evidenced by the no trespassing signs in the background.

Sorry FlatFour, you will receive no beatings from the Mad Cow. The first pic is definatly a "SSOAM" the second, the car is too prominant but still a nice one. The fact that you broke the law taking them though, makes them all that more special.

Nice background shot, and the fact that it looks like you drove in front of someone taking a picture....Yup, I'd say it qualifies

So we went to the park for a family pic nic today. I decided that we should take the super and the camera. We spent something like 2-3 hours taking pics, and changing locations, then finding the right angle so that my cheap digi cam would actually take a decent pic. It was hard to choose only a few of the pics to put up here as they were all good. These are only a few of the locations that we shot. Like I said, the sun plays hell on my camera. Here are the ones that we feel turned out the best. Hope that you enjoy our work and some of the sights around our little hole in the wall town.
