glove box door
SO !!! I have a glove box door that PurpleMyth painted for me years ago that was going to go on the project that I had then. but after having to sell it we kept the glove box door. I believe it was from a 68ish or later standard beetle. I am currently looking at a 1960, will that glovebox door that I have fit the 60 or no?

Re: glove box door
Sounds like time to frame the glove box door and hang it on the wall.

Better to wait (and possibly miss it) until you get back and be sure of what your getting than get it and find out you got less than what you thought.

Re: glove box door
yeah I agree, supposed to come home around the end of May or beginning of June, but due to Covid-19 not sure how travel will be by then. I still chat with the seller every couple of days and he sends me info that he remembers about it and pics and cold start and driving vids, he seems to be on the up and up

Re: glove box door
That’s good. Keeping in contact helps. I’ve lost track. What engine is the bug running?

Re: glove box door
That’s neat. The last time I worked on a VW with a 36hp the only change we made was swapping on an aftermarket exhaust. That and rejetting the carb made a nice difference in performance.
