Looks like one of the "one off" post war Wolfsburg factory vehicles. Maybe a type 83 used by the "Reichspost" . I have a possible photo of one but "Damn Scanner" doesn't want to play fare. They created alot of wierd mutations during that period and used them around the plant grounds as cargo haulers, delivery vehicles, tugs. They built many pickup/sedan mutants. I'd love to see it up close. B)

Probably a mutant, like fastmc said.
The bed part looks a little like this one, except for the cooling air vents being vertical on this one vs. horizontal on that one.

That's it !!!! I am havin' problems with my scanner and was going to post the same photo. Good find. :D The one on Samba looks alittle modified from that original photo. The roof seems to have been cut at some point.

I don't think it's an original Kafer truck, most likely an origanl split window that's been hacked...

Here's another pic of that truck with the bed sides removed. Both pics I have label it as a '46.

What a dork. Cool bus though.
Does he actually think he looks cool or tough ? Does he actually think he would welcome by the gangmembers idealizes ? Wouldn't they just simply shoot him, or because he's so enlightened to how hard their lives are they would just welcome him and be his friend.
NO, they would just kill him. Not gonna happen. I can never figure it out. I guess some people are just born dumb.

Yeah, I would love to have that bus. Gotta be fun to drive around Pheonix.

So using that theory, if you were to say smack someone across the leg with a pipe, that would be art ? Becuase your changing the way the feel and their emotions.
Cool, I will use that one as my defense in court. "Your Honor, it wasn't assault it was performance art". Think about. Is there a difference. No. Both examples cause harm.

Not everything is art.

on the topic of the guy thowin signs... I think of you zoom in close enough you might see that the two middle fingers are crossed.. making a v and w like on the logo.. my thug friends and I do that all the time.... actually we prefer the two handed version v with the right and w with the left.. but you can throw the one handed version while driving pretty safely... I'm pretty sure the guy isn't trying to be a G

I wish there was a better picture of how he did the back of the cab. It looks like it could be interesting.
He doesn't say but I assume that the hood and bed are a fiberglass kit?

yeah, the back window looks a bit wierd. in the pic you posted the back looks flat but from above it looks rounded. maybe there's some overhang or eve-type lip on the top? i'm thinking everything else is fiberglass too. not a terrible start though.

You can see the lip a little better in this pic.
That's an awfully big back window. Bus window?
