I haven't heard any good things about that supplier. Mostly from former work associates and employers. Since the specs on that vehicle sound kind of far fetched I would be very cautious.

There was a Manx truck, kinda rare. but I am with mkparker, maybe not real. I thought all Manx's had the smooth hood, but I could be wrong. Still cool but just a bit over priced, $800 maybe.

Definitely not a Manx.

Your right they all had smooth hoods.

Here is a good reference for ID'ing a Manx. ( From the manx club website ) www.manxclub.com

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE</div><div class='quotemain'>The dashboard of the 1st floorpan model is made of ABS plastic surrounded by a steel frame inside the fiberglass hood.

The hood has a small bump on it's nose, measuring 2" wide by 2 1/2" tall. This bump wore a silver and black sticker on the first 150 kits or so into early 1967, at which time the large black and silver plastic emblem covered this bump. Meyers Manx never had any other bumps, airscoops, ridges, furrows, or anything else on their hoods.

Two tubular steel struts may be in place to stiffen the lower edge of the body at either side of the license plate. This continued to the end of 1971.

The 1st floorpan model, produced into the 70's, had stiffening tubes glassed under the fenders from the pedal bulkhead to the engine bulkhead. These were first made of cardboard tubes glassed in and later a few with 2" vacuum cleaner hose glassed in place, but finally a fiberglass shape was tooled, which formed a tube-like structure under both fenders.

The 2nd floorpan model was called the Manx 2. There were a few hundred Manx 2 bodies produced from late 1968 to late 1970. Some of these were apparently produced while Bruce was still with the company. Those kits have serial numbers starting with "A". Some of these kits had the stiffening tubes under the fenders. The Manx 2's produced after Bruce left the country had 4-digit serial numbers and no longer had the reinforcing tubes under the fenders. All Manx 2's are identified by a larger bump on the hood, the omission of the battery box sump and the spare tire well in the rear seat area - they were flat across the seat area, and the hood and dash were molded as one piece..
Here is a picture of the hood on mine.

Well, I got some more pics from the guy...

Leaf spring on the rear???

Leaf spring on the front???

In all of the pics I have of Fuller and Brizio cars, they all have a torsion bar setup for the front. Did the Speedway kits have a leaf sprung front?

See more of the pics and more Fuller/Brizio cars in my T-Bucket gallery?

It's possable that someone built it from scratch using the Rod and Custom build-up as a guide but other wise if it was a kit, I'm guessing that it is from Dragmaster. They only made about 4 or 5 total but the did do the transverse rear spring. If you are able to find out anything more let me know.

Those pictures plus the few extras in my gallery and the info posted in the samba ad is about all I know about the car. He is asking $6000.00 for it which seems high, but you would know best out of all of us Walt.

Here is what he wrote in the email...
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE</div><div class='quotemain'>i have had quite an enormous amount of emails, and a few say its a fuller built, they said because of the rear apron. but still dont know for sure.
the engine is a 1600cc sinlge port so its mild, maybe 100 hp, but enough if you popped the clutch i am sure it would do a wheelie. its a little scarry at first, but fun fun fun. i dont think you would want any bigger than an 1835 cc engine, it would be to fast to control, like a roller skate on ice.
I thought about sending him a pic of yours and mention the size and induction on your motor!
