Hi All,
My name is Mike and I also have a VW addiction. I am 30, live on the Charlotte, NC area and I am married with 2 daughters.

I have had several Bugs but they have all pretty pretty much stock. I currently have a 74 STD Beetle and a 66 that I just purchased to chop the hell out of. I am planning to build a Volkstruck and will try to keep my site up to date with progress pics.

I have made some more progress. The frame for the rear of the cab has been made and tacked in place. This made the body strong enough to allow me to move it back 7 inches. I had to cut out the firewall to allow the pedals to go through. The website has been updated but I still need to shrink some pictures and organise it a little better.

Updated the website. Pics are now viewable as thumbnails and I can link to specific pics.

I have done some more work and spent last night sorting out a seat for it. The rear seat fits well and will need a little trimming on the front of the bottom cushion.

Next up is to replace the rotted heater channel, trim the floorpan in front, get some doorskins for the rear of the cab and box in the pedal area.

After that I can do some clean up and bodywork.

Some progress but no new pics. I have got half the back of the cab done and one corner done. I am in the middle of installing a new heater channel and then I can remove the body and do the rest of the cab. I'll get some pics in the next couple of days. I have been tied up with the birth of my second daughter last week.

Some new pics. I have moved the body out to my shed and the chassis is in the garage. With a 2 week old in the house it is easier to make the noise in the shed.

I have been working on installing the heater channel and finishing one of the rear cab corners. I also have started putting in some patches.
