Ok I've been hangin around here for a while now and figured I'd join.
It all started with me a few years ago when I helped a buddy make his '59 baja, since then I have doen one other baja and am not doing one awsome project out of a '72 super. I will post pics in a day or two of our progress as to now.

Heres what happened: My buddy Josh and I (both 21) went out and bought a 72 super for $300 off some old lady. She said it looked old but ran well. So we did it. come to find out the body was in near perfect shape (less the hand painted silver), floor pans free of rust, and the motor was perfect. It even had new interior put in a year ago.

So heres what we did: Pulled out the sawsall and proceded to cut off the top and cut the fenders to liking. ( by the way, if any one knows of pictures where people have cut the fenders, not like baja, please let me know, it seems no one cuts fenders. they either take them off or leav them as is...) We then welded and caped the doors, shaved the eitire body ( gutters, hinges, handels...), droped the front end, and got LOTs of chrome ( blade bumpers, luvered running boards, trim, and new badges.) We got the body smoothed out with as little bondo as posable and are now painting flat black and red. We took a bench seat from a dodge caravan and put it in the front and are now pushing the back seat all the way to the firewall. put a steering wheel form a fiat and a shifter from a bus and now we are where we're at. Oh yeah, we cut the winshield dows 4 inches and left the ventwings, they kind of look like the tail fin of a fighter jet...

If any one has any cool ideas please do tell.
