2nd- who says a vw HAS to be stock to be a good one? NOT ME!
at present i live in phoenix, az- or 7th level of hell, depending on what month it is.
i traded off one of my old classic cars for a 69 bug back whenever year it was sometime in the '80s. then the addiction set in with vws. i hopped up the stock 69 bug. added some custom touches to it . made it my own.
have had numerous vws. 65 bug, 67 bugs, a couple buses. am currently after a deal on a badass vw ride again..so will be in the good feeding this sickness again- as its been starving for too long.
i also build choppers (cycles) ...yup i even cut up a so called perfectly good bike and give it a facelift. usually turn out to be something sick too.
