Hey I am Tony in Henderson NV. That is about 20 minutes east of Vegas. I got in to VW's about 12 years ago. I used to work for a VW parts shop 12 years ago for 4 years. I am still good friends with people that work at Bugpack. I ended up selling everything to get a house and now I am starting to collect again. I have a '68 Baja, 59 bug, 70 bug and a 65 bug that is going to be a v-rod. I am working on my '59 but when that is done the v-rod gets it!!

Well, I am still working on my '59. I got the front end in and the tranny is ready to be put in next. I need to finish this to put my time in to the Rod.
As for the Rod: I got a dropped Ford axle, spring and radius rods. I am working on a mount to weld to the beam to mount this to. I have to order some tie rods first to line up the steering, to see if I have to move it forward more. The tie rods will also help with designing some steering arms for the spindles. I am going to chop the top. I plan on removing the B pilar and having one big opening. If I screw that up, it will be getting a carson top with mail slot rear window. Right now I am thinking of painting it Pagan Gold by House of Kolor and I am thinking of running a dual carbed single port 1776, something different. I am sure little details will change as I get more involved with this one.
