After looking around for weeks, I found a bug that met my needs, and my budget. She has a 1600 single port, and is already converted to 12 volt. I picked her up in Long Beach, and, after overheating in Compton and Hollywood, she arrived home via towtruck. So far I have charged the battery, removed the cd player (there were no speakers anyway), and taped up the driver seat with some fancy black duct tape. Total cost of repairs: $6.49 plus tax.
