'73 Bus Sportmobile Camper conversion
I'm leaning more towards a low-buck german type look, I have a set of cookie cutters for it. and I want to fit 944 brakes and trailing arms, but also with some rod influences, air bags so it can be slammed most of the time but I've had times where I've really needed the ground clearance so being able to raise it back up is a must...been tossing around the idea of fitting 914 heaterboxes and having the exhaust exit in front of the rear wheels.
Everything else I want to do is just cosmetic, like re-doing the cabinets inside, and having the camper top replaced, the zippers and screens are all falling apart.
I have a good engine, 2 liter type IV with dual Dellorto's, Aircooled.net's CDI, and Mallory Dizzy except for the one head that keeps having the valve train fall off [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/yelling.gif[/img] I currently reek of exhaust from trying to put it back together in a chuck-e-cheese parking lot, I'm still not done either have to go after work tommorrow and hope I can limp it home.
My friend has a 74(not sure) Baja Bug that he is considering rodding out, but more of a Baja Rod than the other rods here. If we ever go out to his grandparent's where it is stored I'll make sure to take some pics of it.
