CHUGGER
Hello I'm Dave Ashbee. On my second marriage , I've got a 21 year old son a 2 year old daughter. I'm 42", 6'4", 270 lbs, and I drive truck for a living. Anything else you fuckin want to know? OK enough of the anger I picked up a 67'beetle solid underside but rolled over then parked for a few years. Plan on a super low carson top, 8"extender no fenders, suede paint and was thinking of an alternitive power plant like HOT RODS of yesteryear . Currently crusin a 60 Rambler American slightly lowered, wide whites, super slow flat head 6 cyl. Salt trucks have started to spread vehicular cancer so no more crusin so time to get to work!!!!

Re: CHUGGER
Just an update for anyone that cares. 2007 what a year, moved from old house with 24 x 40 pole barn to a bigger house but much smaller garage. SUCKS, but we needed a bigger house and i can build again just takes time and $$$. V-ROD is moving slow but moving ahead, got body lifted doin alot of cleaning and striping gettin ready for chassis stiffening. Thanks Fonzy for the info. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all the Volksrodders out there.

Re: CHUGGER
Bless me volksrod father for I have sinned, it has been over a year since my last update. OK enough of the bullshit, I haven't done a single thing to the bug. hopefully this will change now I have taken a new job working local no more long haul. I see my wife and daughter every day, sleep in my own bed every night , and no more truck stop food. Now I have time to get back to work on the 67, and drive the Rambler more than 4 times this year . Pics will start as soon as I start . The honey do list is almost done.

Re: CHUGGER
At this speed it'll be on the road when I'm 70. Dug it out from all the shit that got piled on it, and started to lift the body off again, just gotta call some buddies.

Re: CHUGGER
It is now in 2. Getting started on the rust, ordered my beam extender from Dbug41. Man it feels good to finally get going. The metal Volksrod script from Speedcult is wicked!!!
It's been officially named, The Lucky Earl's Special.
