Not being much of a contributor in content, Still here and checking in daily almost. Wishing All the Buggers out there A Merry Christmas, (Yes even the non-volksrodders, as I have multiple VW groups I follow). Hope is getting thin in our world of greed and malfeasance, But I Hope for all of us a great new year. Keep them Internal combustion engines running!

This afternoon two trees came down near us on the two main roads as I was heading into town and back. Which made the usual eight minute drive interesting. Once home I walked down where the larger of the two trees was being cut and dragged out of the way by a fire crew and a tractor. Traffic was being guided to a narrow parallel road which features about a foot of water with a ‘Flooded’ sign at each end. One guy waiting in line commented, “This is so screwed up.”
My reply as I stood taking photos, “Well it is Friday the 13th.” Which got a few people laughing.

Have not been on here in forever but this evening by brother sent me a pic of a Volksrod and I immediately thought of this place. I sent him a link. I gotta be honest. I was happy to see you all were still here and I see names I remember. Hopefully he goes wild and builds one.

I come in randomly when I see the link on my work computer, post every few (5-10) years or so according to my history. Look at Shoptalk forums about as often, got nuked from Fascistbook in the great purge, apparently not missing much.
Bomber has been in storage for a long time, no place to work on it, so,... Need to downsize the storage so it will be getting back on the road this summer.
Still point people over here when they have questions about our crazy rides, too much good stuff to sift through!

I stop by from time to time but havent posted since Das Speedster. I am building another Volksrod. Its a 1935 truck that I am building on my very first magazine feature way back in HotVWs 1996. I found my old beetle but sadly its now on a lifted S10 chassis so I bought the pan and stretched it 11', built a square tube structure and attached a 1935 Dodge cab to it, made a bed, cut down an old grille shell and made a hood and fake frame rails. https://www.instagram.com/uniquecoaches/
