I live in St Pete. FL. Was raised in CA. Sure do miss the West at times. My project is a 1970 Bug Woodie. It will have a '37 Ford front end. After the mfg. of the front end took almost a year to get it to me the project kind of took a back seat. I think it's time to get back to it. Was in a VW group at Yahoo (

Also bought my son a Squareback on eBay. He really loves it. OK I do too when I can pry his hands from the wheel.
