I frequent forums.vevortex.com and someone posted a pic of a volksrod and I was hooked.. The next day I was a proud owner of a 69 sedan... all I had to do for it was paint some bumpers

Update.. I've had the car for 4 days...

Well I totally refreshed the motor for less than it costs me to change the oil in my VR:

Rebuilt Carb
New plugs
New filters
New pushrod tubes
Rebuilt distributor
New gaskets
Clean clean and more clean

And I shaved the heater things out of the fan shroud

Started smoothing the engine bay and re-routed all the wires.. no wires will be visible
