hmm suppose i screwed up or something i did a intro on the cutting board..oh well...lets see..a little cut and paste and....guess im supposed to intro myself or something so lets see, look at the link to my project.......other than that i have been into vdubs since i was 17 with numerous bugs and a ghia at some point and time. other than that i cant think of anythign that would make yall love me any more or less...so...HELLO THERE!!!

figured id try my hand ata chop
first cut and fit was a bear to line up

this is the final pic of the car, pretty much ready for the windows

in the days to follow ill be filling in the peices when i have time to post them

as you saw before this is where it started...the first drop...you can see my markings of where i will be cutting this roof

then i brought the center down to match the front...4 inches give or take all the way around..the roof was sectioned into 6 peices and the center romoved for a replacement top that will be put in last

a little closer look at the relief cuts i made to move the drip rail approximately an inch or so....i also had to relieve the drip rail in the center left peice to line up the drip rail there too

you can sort of see the relief i made in the center part in this pic, alot of time and eyeballin had to be done here to line the drip rail up...you can also see the failed attempt in makin the rear window channel by relieving the channel and bending it around,, that will be changed in the future too
