I'm fitting the rear fenders but need to make sure the are sitting correct
Need some help from you guys
Can someone measure the width of a rear apron of a '72 standard beetle. Not sure if there is a difference.
I need the width at the lowest point of the fenders/rear apron.

Thanks............

What a great Project!

in the last pics the front track doesnt seem too much wider than the rear track but in some of your ealier pics the front track width looked WAY wider than the rear.

Is there much of a difference?

Cheers

Ben

In the "pre"-assembly stage the track at the rear is about 32mm (1.259") per side less then at the front . At the last picture there is a spacer mounted between the bearing housing and the suspension arm so now the track at the front and rear is the same
Total "track" outside-left tire to outside-right tire is 1880mm (740.15")

Not to pick, but I think that would be 74.015 inches. Decimal point just skipped over a notch . :)
