Hey Guys. Great web site with lots of good info. The Billetproof rod is sweet and has given me some new ideas. I'm a firefighter/paramedic out in west Texas and love old school rods and choppers. I've owned a couple of bugs and actually had one that was finished enough to drive. My current project is a '64 that I am going to install a T model fron axel with custom kingpins to use stock bug brakes, wheels, etc. Of course it will be fenderless, if I ever get the fenderwells smoothed up, hammer, dolly, weld, grind, hammer, dolly........ I'm leaning toward a roadster pickup, and since I've got two youngns', I'm trying to figure out how to leave enough room for a back seat so we can all go cruise. So far, I think it can be done. I'll try to post some pics when it starts to look a little more like a car. Thanks again for a great place to hang out and all the info.
