Well, this is my first post so I'll get to the point. I am from Fort Worth TX, and I am a mechanic I have been working at the same dealership for9.5 years, but have been working on cars since my father would let me. I have always liked VW's, but have been into the 4WD Jeep thing lately. Anyway,I have a few projects right now, but when I saw the Volksrod style Bug, I knew the others had to go away to fund the new idea. I will soon be posting a few for sale. Probably the 71 Chevelle wagon that has been in the family since my Grandfather bought it new. Also the 88 Grand Wagoneer that I bought a year ago. It has a 4" lift and 31x10.5 tires, no more than 500mi on the lift or tires. Also might sell the 68 Ghia Vert if it comes down to bieng short of money to fund the new one. I have a 68 Bug that my father bought new. That's not the one getting cut up. That's bieng saved for a later project. I currently have a lot of several VW's that would be perfect for the new project. Which one to pick... Anyway this is me and I hope to spend some time here getting to know yall, hopefully learning and offering any knowledge that I might have.

Here's some pics of my potential V-Rod. The green one is a 62 I believe. It belongs to a friend of mine. That's what I want to start with.

Some pics of my buddy's 39 or 40 (?) truck. Won't do anything with it or sell it. I would love for that to end up in my garage.
