Default Distractions

Havent posted alot. But work continues on the car.
Except for the distractions.
Building this for a Mall kiosk. It will be set up as though its halves are attached. Almost done with fab on rear section, front half will be intact. so mostly body work on it.
Its for a company called Roadwire, they do leather interiors , also heated and aircond. seats.
Had had to slide the halves together for the short bus pic
The car waiting its turn

Well, yesterday more progress was made. despite tripping and falling into the back half Then fighting the welder, getting a birds nest between the roller and the gun sleeve.
Oh and welding the same piece of angle iron 4 different times
Only afew things left to fab on the rear. The engine compart ment is going to be a drawer, with the hatch being the drawer front.
Hope to be working on the front half tomorrow.

Heres the basic layout. theres about 5 ft between the halves. A surfboard sign will connect the roof sections, made of Star wood? Im just the metal guy. so not sure if thats what the wood is called.
Got a pretty big rubber rake, LT78's on the back and 165's on the front.
There will be two seats between the rear fenders and two in the cab. A computer in the cargo area and some drop down monitors facing fwd from cargo area.

The project continues. Back half in rough bondo. Started on demo of front half. Typical nose damage and rust.
Worst part is reminding myself its never gonna get wet or drive. Fake it as long as it looks good in the end.
Gotta be done by 16th of this month.

Since I work four 10's Im off today. Hope to get primer on the back half.
Heres some of the fun on the front. The wrecking yard used a forklift to retrieve the parts. Got a little sloppy and flatened the window flange and bent driver side a pillar.
Between my nail bar, welder and come-along , most of the damage has been reversed. Picks are in reverse. last should be first
