Default Fresh Start
Re:: It's been awhile

It's been some time since I have posted. Times have changed I got a new job at Bilstein Shocks and finally found the missing piece to my build. That's right it's truck time!!! Currently just trying to get everything the right size, but it is a 56 front to back of doors, back of the cab is a 49 chevy 3 window and the bed will be 66 square back fenders, hatch will be the tailgate and extended cab windows. I chopped it 4" which seems about right and the back window will be a long gun slot. Thought this would be a good ice breaker for being gone so long.

The cab is just fantastic. The emblem gives a whole new meaning to, "Light 'em up!"

Thanks guys, wish I could say the whole thing was my ideas but I stole the idea from Universal Tire Guy on here. A few years ago he had a drawing done of what he wanted to build and well I like it too lol. Bugula first chop is gone and the body of the second is sitting in the corner of the garage.

Back at it! Framing in the bed and hanging fenders.
I do have a question to those who have built a bed on the back of a bug, What points on the chassis did you use? Iím currently only using the 2 bolt hole by shocks for body but was going to add 4 more to the trans fork.
