Re: De Konjel
Always good to hear that I'm a bad influence for other people! .
Think when you use different ratio's with a visco coupling it won't last long .
Why not rebuild a gearbox into a front diff. like the autocross guys do here in Europe? You can use the same ratio's and perhaps also reduction boxes up front????

Re: De Konjel
Yes, that is what I was worried about too..
No. I dont think I can use reductionboxes on the spindles. But an other option I have investigated is that I could use for example the Overdrive gears from a rearwheeldrive Volvo and flip it backwards making it a reductionbox instead. Mount it on the driveshaft between the transmission and front diff. Then find a suitable 80's BMW reardiff. (lots of ratio options) and make it work.. :)

Hey man, get a shot of the tools you are uesing. Chassis building is something I'd like to do. How are you making the cuts, small parts, brackets, ect?

Forgot to make pictures but it is not much special.
An angle grinder , sawzall and a good welder .
The brackets etc. I make with the angle grinder.
I would say "JUST DO IT" . Take your time. Think about it a lot. But on the end you just need to do it.

I just tore the floors and rockers out of my 181 and there's still more to go, with your fab skills you could probably just make an entirely new body

Re: De Konjel
This is one of my favorite builds!! I work for CAT and we "overbuild" everything. This reminds me of that.
You should paint everything yellow; body, chassis, engine, wheels...everything.
