That sucks man, I'm really sorry to hear you lost your Pooh-Bear. I personally think it's a kick ass name for a St. Bernard.

Mega St. MoJo on it's way to you!!

Ian man... I'm so sorry. I know how hard it is losing your faithful furry friend. She looks like a great pal in that pic.

Thanks guys. I believe she had a stroke on Sunday. She seemed to sleep 20 hours a day anyway, but I noticed she was just in a strange position. So when I went out to check on her, she had no use of any of her legs. Didn't seem to be in a pain luckily. So I just kept her comfortable until I could get her to the vet Monday to be put down and then cremated. I'm not really sad anymore because at least I can take comfort in the fact that she was an abused dog that I got from a rescue organization. so the 6+ years she was with me were the best of her life. And even though I actually had to bust out "a tear or two" at the vet Monday, I wouldn't have changed anything.

Always appreciate your pets. You don't always get a warning on when their time is up.

Here is my dog Clutch. 1 year old Border Collie. He is so eager to work and do what you tell him. Kick ass dog. Also keeps a good eye on the kids.

Aw man... I used to have pedigree basset hound. Got her when she was small enough to fit in the palm of my hand. Had the dog for about 3+ years and she was the coolest dog I had ever had.
Unfortunately I had a pretty bad relationship with my mum and I had to move away but she wouldn't let me take my dog with. Turns out a couple months after I left I found out that she gave my dog away .

I'll definitely get another dog and would have one if I could have pets at my apartment. When I get a place that allows pets I'll get me another hound dog... probably a bloodhound .
Bassets are known for their kind personality and are great around kids.

I still get a lump in my throat when I think about Toby, and it's been about 47 years since I buried him.

He was an adult when we got him and he'd already learned a lot of tricks: the usual stuff (sit, stay, rollover, shake hands), plus "praying" (nose down between front paws), "dancing" (hopping around on his back legs), and "speaking silently" (opening/closing his mouth without barking).

I ran across this photo of him the other day. When walking, his tail would curl over his back, and both it and his legs were "feathered." We were told he was a chow and cocker mix, but he looks mostly border collie to me. A good ol' dog . . . .

My friend dropped by to show me her new pup today. She works at a local pet hospital and rescued this pup from being put down after the he was hit by a car and abandoned. This is his first day out of the hospital after surgery on his rear leg. He has a limp but is doing great. The name is "Lucky".

My reaction when she told me she wanted him back...

I think the dog just farted. I asked him to see if my suspicions were true, but he stayed silent = GUILTY

Don't hate me I don't like cats or dogs to own. I like other folks dogs and cats.
I have Two red ear sliders about 2" now, and a albino african clawed frog. On some nights the frog will croak. it's a soothing song. I need to get pics of him.

Here's where the Punks live. This pic is during the build. I made the back ground with foam and concrete. If you look to the left there is a skeleton pulling himself out of a hole. This is about 175 gallon tank It's built into the wall in the Man cave.
