We had to give our Bassets away (Fred & Hank). They were DESTROYING our house big time. We moved back in from the house fire in Oct. They have chewed up brand new furniture, Christmas toys and Christmas clothes (on Christmas day). Brand new linoleum in the kitchen is now missing a 4'x3' piece. Anyway we found them really great homes with LOTS of land.

We were heartbroken after that, so we've been looking and finally found this little sweetheart today. She's about 2mo old. She's Rat Terrier / Bichon mix. She should be between 6-8 lbs fully grown, so she's very portable. Very lovable and VERY drooly when she's asleep. Haven't thought of a name yet, thinking "Cassie" but we haven't decided yet.

Default Happy Birthday Rupert!!

My wife reminded me that today our grouchy old bulldog Rupert turned 11 (which makes him 67 in bulldog years). Rupert celebrated by drinking half a bowl of beer. He then repaid our generosity by farting the rest of the day and attempting to lick the genitals he has not been able to reach since he was 4. I hope all of us are so lucky!

Isabella is the newest edition to my small family of me and her

I got her from a friend that I am doing some body work for. Evidently his girlfriend seen her and her "owners" as she walked into the market, by the time she got through the door and made it down an isle and realized she had to have her list and purse she walked out the door and seen the dog sitting there all by her lonesome and a truck driving off. She said she waited around for an hour and did her shopping - no one ever came back. She left her number at the office but no one has stepped forward for her. So I finally got me a doggie

I don't think she's even 8 weeks yet but took well to eating solid puppy food turned into mush. I'm not all too sure what the hell she is. I remember someone walking into a store with a dog that looked almost exactly like her and said it was a red nosed pit. All I know is that she is cuter than shit and boy can she snore

:edit: the black on her brow is from someone thinking they needed to stick their head in my exhaust pipe

That is a cute ass dog! Train her right and get one more nice pit to prove to the world that in the right hands they can be great dogs. I have a pit lab mix and he is the best dog I have ever owned. Got him when he was 5, he had some bad maners and had been through so many owners that he didnt know what to think. Calmed him down and started laying down the law, seems like a differnt dog. That was untill my girl moved in with her corgie.... but thats a whole 'nother story.

She just can't say no to animals. At one point in time they (she) had in the house 15 dog, 8 cats an alligator and a llama. They got it down to 4 dogs and 3 outside cats. Some people just need to forget how to breathe

She may not be over 8 weeks yet, but I'm starting early. Trying to keep her socialized with other dogs and everyone I know has kids so I'm trying to keep her comfortable with people too. The only thing that we really need to work on is this lunge and bite for the face thing and the chewing. I don't need the classic proverbial white trash pit
