Looks like you'll have enough head room to drive it comfortably.
Something the majority of bubbletop cars don't have.

Can't wait to see it levitate!

So are you going to hold your breath when you drive it or have you figured out how to ventilate that thing?

Better lay off the beans.

Bubble looks great. I like the cleavage at the front and back.

Are you thinking about a spine that runs down the center, splitting the bubble visually?

Utterly amazing. Just spent the last hour reading through this thread (and all of the Samba expostulatory scribble) for the first time. Keep up the awesomeness! WE NEED MOAR UPDATES!

You know, it's sinking in for me. This has to be the first "bubble top" volksrod, ever. Mark is truly pushing the envelope with Dub 'n Aire. I have seen this car in person, and it's just amazing how much work Mark has done. All work performed by him (maybe some help by that other crazy Gosson bro, and that pesky son of his ), in his garage. This is true hot rodding. and eventually

One of the overseas VW magazines needs to do a retrospective of Mark's VWs. (I don't think HotVWs would ever do it) It would be a great story for people to read.

Maybe Rod & Custom, at least they would appreciate all the love and work that is going into it. Send them some of the build up pic's.

I agree. But I could see an article in Ultra or Volksworld for sure. Maybe even Let's Play VWs or Super VW. Someone needs to. I've seen most of Mark's creations, either in person, or in photos. They're all killer.

My only complaint is he got lost once and traveled down the watercooled path. But he righted himself eventually.

I still have lot's of idea's for it.......including a/c for the summer heat and possibly air jets to blow the water off instead of wipers (kind'a like washer squirters)!
Here are some pic's of the headlights I am still working on...still have to make the chrome inner surround and the final outer trim...but hopefully you'll get the idea!

Also have the rear bubble inner frame started...worked on it again tonight and maybe will get a chance this weekend...

Can't wait to get to the interior fab!
