I'm with John, shorter bubble or open roadster. Wish there was some way to push the whole nose clip out, add about 6" to the length between the front wheelwell and the door. I think the length would balance it out more. But then again those of us who can't do always have something to add
Headlight bullets are cool as hell. At any rate look'n good and can't wait to see more.

Thanx for the ideas and renderings. I still like the bubble top idea. But it will actually be shorter than that, and remember it will have a character line done down the middle from front to back - giving the appearance of 2 seperate bubbles - like the t-bird.
That t-bird is AWESOME! Can't wait for my new issue of CKD!

I wasn't sure if the headlight treatment would "work". But it came out the way I wanted, and I am very happy with them. Now if I can just duplicate on the passenger side (no, the kustom by krunch right fender is not the look I am after - if will be replaced!)

Been doing some measuring and I THINK the foglights from a 99-01 Chevy Silverado will fit right in behind the grills!
No, not a show car - I goal is to DRIVE this to Hot August Nights and Bug-O-Rama!

Why do you have to "put your two cents in,"
but it's only a "penny for your thoughts"?
Where's that extra penny going to?

I'm loving this build i just put this together (on GhiaSelecta ) to see how all the bubble lines may look... very nice. (Let me know if u want to see any color or mods)

(Artistic licence taken on the moon disks)

Rubber Dub - That's how I've been picturing it, except now I think it needs a pair of tassles...
Mark, you've been working like a dog on that thing!!! Makes me sore, just looking at it. Also makes me feel lazy (haven't been working on my stuff at all. But I am making plans for my next super-secret masterpiece - thanks for the inspiration).

Congrats on getting so much done. No wonder I haven't heard from you. You're almost as productive as Big Skizzy now! But I do hope you take a nap at some point...

What an awesome job you did RD!!! Thank you

As for colors.......I have been toying with the idea of a white to dark green fade-away paint job like John Dagostino's "Royal Emperor"

Try this one on for size (hope your ok with abit of glitter!). Fade up form the bottom and from the sawge line for interest. (Note the fade on the fin is just shadow) Also added a set of starburst hubcaps (one of my fav's).

That looks awesome! Funny you added those hubcaps as that is what I have been leaning towards (cheaper than chrome radars which is what I want). Think I would have to make my own though as the round ribs need to be bigger for this car.
Still thinking about the '57 Chevy style side trim on the rear and extending down then to the front of the car, with chrome strips on the top of each fin.
I guess my "paintshop" version really does look like a first grader huh? ha-ha

I like the rear wheel opening that Rubber Dub used, graceful and flowing.
