Watching "Mr. Destiny"

Porsche 550 Spyder crashed into a pristine Beetle convertible. Two birds with one stone. I was very disheartened.

On the bright side, that vert will make someone a good Volksrod roadster project!!

I know there are others movies with similar classics getting destroyed... let's hear 'em

For some reason I dont think the Cobra Merc was real....could be wrong on that though.

About 2/3 of the original "Gone in Sixty Seconds" from the 70's

Wasn't there a move car wrecks page? I cant find it now but I could have sworn there was at one point.

the cobra merc was real.....eddie paul built a bunch of them, some were based on 4 doors and some were less than pristine, and the movie company ripped him off and basically stole them.

I think the movie is called 'the running' ? with the rock in it, a bunch of vws (ghias, bugs and busses) get blown up .
the mad max that bigguy posted~ and graffiti~

In one of the Dirty Harry flicks a split window bus gets t-boned during a chase scene.In another an early 60's beetle gets run off the road by a school bus while Clint is on the roof.

New movie: War

A beautiful emerald green Chevelle SS gets smashed during a chase scene. I think I stopped breathing for a second... Pretty good movie though.

Another was from the new gone in 60... the GT500 replica getting tortured. In all actuality, they used a few different ones, one of them (the jump car) having two I-beams for a frame.

Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. A (supposed) Kubel gets dumped on top of a tank and is then blown off with the main gun. I'm hoping it was just a dressed up Thing.

If any of you have seen Robert Rodriguez, and Quentin Tarentino's "Grindhouse", the second half of the double feature is called "Deathproof" And they smash up a few old Examples of fine american steel, but the one that killed me was the death of the supposed real 440 Challenger w/6-pack.

It looked pristine!!
