Default New guy from Missouri

Hey all my names Steve im from Missouri and I have a bug.....lol I have a 1973 super bug.

I also have no legs. Yep thats correct. And don't worry about the short jokes im cool with it. You can't upset me, you might even teach me a few more. I like working on anything with an engine. I have built motorcycles, choppers I even had a 1965 chevy short bed fleetside. I rebuilt it in high school. Move forward from high school 7 years, I had a Ford ranger fall on me and was stuck under it for over 8 hrs. Hence not having legs any more. I now eork on lawn mowers for the people around my area. Just kinda tired of the hum drum of the same old thing.

AnywAnyway. ...now to the bug. I know everyone wants to be original with each project of their own and in many ways they are original. But if I may (markh) I want to turn my bug into a bug truck. I dont have anything other than the bug itself and a dream. I am very independent I try not to depend on anyone. Yes sometimes I do need help but I am vertically challenged not handicapped.

Markh, I have been going over and over your bug truck build and when I find the right parts and pieces I may have lots of questions to come.

Last if any of you have any questions just ask and remember there isnt any stupid question except the one not asked.

Any how, not any progress. But I did buy a 1950's chevy truck bed trailer for 35 dollars at a auction a few days ago. I will post a few pics when it gets home. It also has the original wheels and hup caps on it.

Sorry I know I promised pics today and I took them. But my camer phone messed up and I had to delete them. But I do have good news... I just saved a bunch of money by switching my car insurance to progressive.....lol

Na really though, I found a cab!!!!! But too muddy to get in the field where its at. So I guess that is some progress.

gain no pics sorry. But I have found yet another truck cab. It happens to be a 53 ford. I know I won't use as much so I dont think it will matter. Here is a link to the trucks measurements.
