little about me and my vw obsession
little about myself for this wonderful intro my name is brandon im 29 years old i grew up in the suburbs of chicago now reside in central texas where im taking auto body and collision course along with a metal fab course i am honestly a huge vw fanatic all i have owned is vw's minus my old work truck since i got my liscence grew up with a Greaser for a grandfather building leadsleds and gassers have always loved vw since i was a little kid first car was 81 vw caddy diesel then onto 82 rabbit 88 fox 95 jetta and a 2001 jetta now i have bought my first aircooled 73 standard beetle that is where my project begins of my volksrod leadsled crossover will be looking for any and all advise i can get about beam extensions frame head bracing and suicide doors choping the top and so on my goal as it sits is a five inch extension up front 3 inch chop out of the roof suiciding the doors and fabbing up some custom 3 inch widened rear fenders with built in skirts for the beauty of being seamless and having the old 40's lead sled look in the rear
