New with a '72 super bug

Hey all, new here from Brookfield Mo. I just recently recieved a 1972 vw super bug. I have kind of a smart arse personality, not in a bad way. Finish reading and you will find out.

I work on anything with a gas engine. I have since I was like 11 years old. I am 34 now. I currently work on lawn mowers for a little extra cash in my pocket. I build motorcycles and trikes, mini bikes and the such.

Like my grandma always used to say, I am a jack of all trades master of none. I also do a little carpentry work. I do just about anything but get up and walk across the floor.

WAIT!! Did I just say anything but walk across the floor???? Now why on earth would a person say something like that? Well folks, I am only 3 foot 9 inches tall. I have no legs. Yes that is correct. I lost my legs back in '05 above the knee amputee.

People always ask me how I do what I do? well I tell them I just get off my arse, and do what I need to do.

ready for a little inside joke? Really. I was 5ft 9in tall. Now I am 3ft 9in tall, I lost 2 foot by loosing 2 feet. and its the truth. No jokes.

But anyway, seriously, I love anything with a gas engine. even if it is ancient junk, I like to make things run and go. I have an old 1956 David Bradley mule as I like to call it, I also have a sulky that goes behind it. I know most wont know what a sulky is but in the farming community people will know.
