New guy
I don't currently have a VW and have not owned one since 1982 when I traded a motorcycle for a very rusty 63 Beetle. My first thought was to turn it into a trike, but I finally did a Baja conversion finished just in time to accept a recall to active duty with the Army. The bug was sold and over the years I've thought about getting another one. I'm getting ready to retire from a second career and I am planning a V rod project in the next year or two. I've been lurking here for several years, accumulating ideas and upgrading my fabrication skills. Hopefully, I will be able to post pictures of project in the near future.
